The White House is engaging with local school dristricts to have shots administrered on site to speed up getting school age children vaccinated. Today, First lady Jill Biden will kick off the campaign to urging parents and guardians to vaccinate kids ages 5-11. The FLOTUS and Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy are set to visit the Franklin Sherman Elementary School in McLean, Virginia, on Monday to launch a nationwide campaign to promote child vaccinations. The school was the first to administer the polio vaccine in 1954.

The Biden administration will privide resources to local school districts to help schools partner with pharmacies to administer shots.
