Black MAGA Pastor Accuses Dearborn Leaders of Practices Sharia Law
At a Dearborn, MI townhall meeting Black MAGA Pastor Lorenzo Sewell challenged members of the City Council to denounced Sharia law.
"Will you denounced Sharia law?," he shouted while pointing to individual leaders. No responses were heard. Sewell went on to proclaim that Muslims make up 1 percent of the country and America is a Christian nation. These claims followed a street dispute where a preacher was involved in an altercation, prompting the argument that local authorities favored the Muslim community because arrests were allegedly mishandled.
Similar claims have been made over the years by various anti-Muslim commentators attempting to portray the city's large Arab and Muslim population as a political takeover. But, Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud strongly rejected the accusations. Wayne County commissioners also dismissed the claims, affirming that the U.S. Constitution remains the highest law protecting all faiths. Sewell's claims have not been substantiated.
