Ricky Dillard honored for lifetime acievement at the Stellar Awards

Dr. Ricky Dillard received a special honor for Lifetime Achievement at the Stellar Awards Sunday night. One of the most influential personalities on Black church music, Dillard is known as the "choir master. In his performacne he showed us the length and depth of his music ministry. "Don't kick the choir out of the loft." he admonished, alluding to chiors being oversadowed b praise teams. Dillard, a antive of Chicago has been in the gospel music industry for 34-years. He finished the set with the current hit by his choir Nu G entitled "All of My Help." To top off te accomplisment, Ricy Dillard and Nu G received te Stellar Awards for Choir of te Year.
